I was born in Belveglio, a tiny village in the province of Asti, about 45 minutes from Torino.

I went to school in my home town first, then in nearby Nizza Monferrato where I graduated from high school.

After that I studied foreign languages at the Facolta' di Lettere e Filosofia of the University of Torino. After graduating I taught English in a number of schools in my home area.

In January 2002 I moved to the US  to start a Master's of Education in Information Science and Learning Technology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. That was an amazing experience!

In July 2004 I graduated and started working as director of the Language Learning Center at the University of Dayton, Ohio.

In September 2006 I relocated to Italy and started to teach English in a middle school in the province of Asti, in the north-western part of the country.

In September 2008 I moved to a CTP, a center for adult education, in the same area. I am currently teaching English to adults.
